The main steps in the process:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4xp6sxQPIw2mdNfOAKtOcA

  1.  Making the mold
  2. Creating the wax template
  3. Adjusting the wax template
  4. Making the ceramic shell
  5. Pouring the metal
  6. Removing the shell
  7. Finishing
  8. Patina

When planning the project, our craftsmen consider the materials used in the original piece so that it can be preserved, as much as possible. If an original piece is particularly fragile and likely to be damaged, we will notify you before starting the project. Unfortunately, Atelier du Bronze cannot guarantee that art pieces will survive the molding process.

The time it takes to complete a project in our workshop depends on the amount of work in progress and the complexity of these projects. This means that timelines can vary significantly. As a general rule, you can expect 8 to 10 weeks for a small piece and 6 to 12 months for a monumental sculpture. And when calculating complete turnaround time for a project, the approval process needs to be taken into account.

To get an estimate for the cost of your project, you can contact us online by clicking the link below. You’ll be redirected to a form to fill out and send our way. Over the following days, usually less than three business days, a member of our administrative team will contact you to confirm the request and ask you further questions. Then, you’ll receive an official estimate, valid for 30 days, sent to you by email or via the communication channel you requested.

You can also contact us by phone at 418-453-2251 or by fax at 418-453-2441.
